1

Federal Grant Writing

Full-cycle proposal development for state and federal agencies, including BoR, DOE, BIA, HUD, DOT, and EDA.

We coordinate, research, write, and assemble — ensuring a smooth process from idea to submission.

2

Feasibility Studies

Economic feasibility analyses, needs assessments, and market studies that strengthen your narrative and serve as standalone planning tools for tribal leadership.

3

Funding Strategy & Roadmaps

We map your tribal priorities to current and upcoming funding opportunities, identifying sequencing across grant cycles and building a 12–24 month strategic funding roadmap.

4

Grant Management and Reporting

Post-award compliance matters. Critica supports performance reporting, budget oversight, and modification requests to ensure continued good standing with federal and state agencies.

5

Research & Policy Analysis

Compelling applications are grounded in evidence. Critica translates community needs into grant-ready evidence bases — literature reviews, data analysis, policy briefs, and needs documentation.

Research-grade rigor,

applied to your community's priorities

Critica Research and Analysis, LLC is a Woman-Owned Small Business based in Washington, DC. We serve clients remotely with on-site travel to communities as needed and annual strategic review consultations.

Founded and directed by Dr. Nadia Al-Dayel, Critica brings a research institution's analytical discipline and federal programming experience to the practical work of securing funding for tribal governments and organizations.

Our approach treats every grant application as a rigorous research product: grounded in documented need, supported by feasibility evidence, and structured to meet the specific evaluation criteria of each federal or state agency. We do not produce generic proposals — we produce rigorous, competitive ones.

Critica operates on a remote retainer basis, which allows tribal clients to access senior-level grant writing expertise without the cost or administrative overhead of a full-time hire. Engagements are structured transparently, with clear deliverable timelines and direct communication with tribal leadership and program staff.

We are honored to work alongside sovereign nations pursuing economic self-sufficiency, infrastructure investment, and educational opportunity for their communities.
